Luis, founder of IsThisAiWritten
Luis founded IsThisAiWritten and runs it from Switzerland. He is responsible for everything published here: the detector, the open benchmark behind its numbers, and the articles and comparisons on this site.
What he works on
IsThisAiWritten started as a simple question people type into a search box: is this AI? Luis built the site to answer it for free, without an account or a word limit, and without ever sending the text anywhere. The current version runs an open detection model inside the reader's browser and publishes how often it is right and how often it is wrong, on the methodology page.
How the articles are written
Every article follows the site's editorial policy: facts about other tools come from their own public pages, with a link and the date they were checked; our own numbers come only from the open benchmark; and every comparison says where the other tool is the better choice. When something is wrong, it gets corrected and the page shows when it was updated.
